(freebie) 2012 Teacher Appreciation Tags/Notes & Gift Wrapping Ideas

We've designed some new tags for your Teacher Appreciation gift. Each tag comes in three different sizes....one for a large, medium and/or small gift.  Food is always fun to give, whether it is homemade or from your favorite bakery.  Gift cards from Walmart, Starbucks and any office supply store are always a hit! We wanted to not only give you the tags but some ideas on how to wrap up your gift.   We purchased these boxes, cupcake boxes and bags at Xpedx.

This yellow and grey tag looks nice on this gable box. We've added a paper bow and button flower.  We've just slipped the tag on this one down into the bow. This gable box measures 6" long 2 3/4" wide and 6" tall. I bought this set of 2 white gable boxes at Xpedx.  Get the tutorial and free download for the paper bow HERE.

Here's the tutorial for making this cute flower. It's very very easy. Use all the same color for the flower or mix it up using multiple colors. This flower paper punch measures 2" and is from EK Success  You can buy online or available at JoAnn's, Michaels and Hobby Lobby.

Tags made up in grey with light grey stripes and yellow and

Clip our Teacher Appreciation note onto this cute red bow. You can get these 1" clips at any craft store. This is the same gable box as shown above (6" long 2 3/4" wide and 6" tall ) Yellow, Red and Grey are the colors this bow comes in. Most of our tags have a space on the bottom so you can put a name.  Here's  the link to the tutorial for the paper bow.

An easy way to wrap up your Teacher Appreciation gift is a colorful bag with matching bow. Attach the tag with some twine and you're done.

This gable box measures 8" wide x 4 3/4" deep and 9" tall.  We put two tags together to add dimension. Use the foam tabs to attach, and just add ribbon to finish this one.

This gable box measures 4" long x 2 1/4" deep and 5" tall. The perfect size for a gift card. We used the smallest size of our tags (each one comes in 3 different sizes) They are made up in yellow and grey.  The clear round gift package measures 3 3/4" tall. We've put another flower on the lid that matches the color of the label.  Small candies work perfect here or even another gift card.  We bought these at Pebbles but I'm sure you could find them at your favorite craft store.

These clear 4" cupcake boxes are perfect for regular sized cupcakes and even Costco's jumbo muffins and cupcakes.  A stack of your yummy brownies would fit nicely too.  Each box comes with a insert that holds the cupcake in place. Purchased from, Xpedx but you can find them elsewhere.  Below is the tutorial for putting this box together. A 12x12 piece of scrapbook paper worked perfectly for the strips around the middle.

Fill these cupcake boxes with M&M's, gummi bears, nuts, chocolates....any kind of  candy.

Add your own embellishments to the box......wired ribbon, rafia, twine, curly ribbon etc.  You can use the largest tag or the medium tag for this box.  It's a gift that shows you cared enough to put something special together for the teacher but is inexpensive to make.

And last but not least, we've designed the largest tag to fit on the front of a paper cd case. Put inside one of your fabulous homemade cookies (you know the one everyone asks for) or get a yummy one from your favorite bakery. (I think the cookie I picked up is just a little too large and even a little misshapened but.....it just might fit in the envelope--I get my jumbo cookies at Whole Foods bakery)

Click HERE to download all the Teacher Appreciation tags shown above. When you view the file on our hosting site the colors will look off, but when you download to your computer you will see the true colors. We'd love for you to follow our Blog and become a friend of our Facebook Page
